Mill Department Lead

About Us

Firland Workshop is a non-profit organization in Shoreline WA that provides opportunities for employment to mission-based employees. Firland Workshop manufactures precision aerospace components. We have a wide set of tools and capabilities in the shop including water jet, turret punch, brake press, CNC, riveting, bonding, assembly, and debur. We are seeking a CNC Mill Department Lead to join our team in a full-time onsite capacity.

Responsibilities

The Mill Lead is responsible for the activities and products of the machining department (CNC machines, saws, drills, lathes). The Mill lead is also responsible for developing and improving the department’s processes, and the personnel in the department by providing leadership and accountability for results.

Qualifications

Background Check

In compliance with the provisions of the Department of Social and Health Services, a background check of prospective employees may be done to determine if they have been subject to any findings of sexual abuse, exploitation or physical abuse against a vulnerable person. Therefore, job offers may be contingent upon the outcome of the background investigation.
