Workshop Capabilities

We specialize in precision manufacturing according to an AS9100 certified process.  Our capabilities include CNC milling, metal punching, bending on a brake form press, water-jet cutting, drilling, de-burring, lathe work, and assembly.

We have state of the art equipment available for use including:

We regularly engage in the production and assembly of parts made out of sheet metal, rubber, plastics, foam, and various other non-metallic materials.

We are also fully certified in ground stud assembly and verification. We have a dynamic Kaizen culture that has resulted constant improvements for years. We have been in operation since 1955 making high-quality aircraft parts.

Aerospace component assembly

Firland provides final assembly for aerospace components which include; riveting, bonding, bolting, and helicoil applications.  We also have sophisticated part marking equipment that can place part numbers on your parts in a precise manner.

Clicker Press for Soft Materials

Firland makes custom tooling for the precision cutting of soft materials such as plastic, rubber, felt, vinyl, etc.  We cut parts for gaskets, insulation, spacers, molding or many other applications from these kind of materials.

Ground stud application

Firland is fully certified in the installation and testing per BAC5117 standards for ground stud assembly and testing.
